ESI Ironman 70.3 Augusta is a Long distance triathlon consisting of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and a 13.1 mile run.

About the event

Athletes start the day with a 1.2 mile swim in the Savannah River then take on a one-loop, hilly bike course through Georgia and into South Carolina. The day ends with a run through downtown Augusta allowing spectators to see their athlete several times throughout the course.
