Swim Course

(1.2 miles)

The swim course is a point to point course that will start at 5th Street and the Savannah River at the Riverfront Marina.

Athletes will enter the water and swim with the current for 1.2 miles along the shoreline until they exit the swim course at the Augusta Rowing Complex public Boat Ramp. (The boat ramp will be carpeted for athletes safety)

This will be a wave start swim with each wave entering the water at 4 minute intervals. *Time intervals are subject to change. Please continue to check back regularly for updates.

Once athletes reach the top of the public Boat Ramp they will run a short distance to T1 which is located in the parking lot of the Augusta Rowing Complex.

    About the event

    Athletes start the day with a 1.2 mile swim in the Savannah River then take on a one-loop, hilly bike course through Georgia and into South Carolina. The day ends with a run through downtown Augusta allowing spectators to see their athlete several times throughout the course.
